Myron T. Federwitz passed away on Friday, May 10th, 2024, at the age 88 at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield. Myron was born to Frederick and Emma (Duchow) Federwitz on June 30, 1935. He married the love of his life, Maridene (Hendrickson) on January 18th, 1958, and recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. They lived most of their lives in Millidore, Wisconsin where they raised their three children.
Myron served in the Army and was an active member of the American Legion post in Milladore for most of his life helping with the Milladore picnic. He worked at Preway and Figi’s as a laborer and attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Chuch in Junction City.
Myron loved spending time with family, his card games and fishing at the cabin. He will be missed by many including his wife Maridene and his children: Ryan (Virgina) Federwitz of Pittsville, Dale (Kris) Federwitz of Stratford, and daughter-in-law Sandy Federwitz of Auburndale. He was blessed to have ten grandchildren as well as nine great grandchildren.
He is reunited with those who passed before him who included his parents, his daughter Diane who died shortly after childbirth, his son Delmore, his brothers Arnold and Alvin and his sister Adeline (Janssen). We are sure his loved ones in heaven greeted him with fishing on the lake, a campfire, a card game, something fresh off the grill by Del, and sardines and sandwiches that the grandkids have sent ahead for him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17th at 10 am at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Pkwy.) Marshfield. Pastor Timothy Rosser will officiate the service which will take place at 11 am. Final resting place will be at Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.
