Nicholas Pagel, of Wausau, passed away in his home on August 15th, 2025. He was born to Eugene and Sandra Pagel on December 30th, 1997.

Nick was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Pagel; and grandfather, Thomas Pagel. Nick is survived by his mother, Sandra (VanDerLeest) Pagel; sister, Kaylee (Pagel) Cline; as well as grandparents, Gloria Pagel and Leon and Bernice VanDerLeest; aunts; uncles; and many cousins.

Nick was an avid hunter with a love for the outdoors. Throughout the year, he enjoyed watching wildlife that visited his hunting stand through trail cameras. When he wasn't hunting, Nick enjoyed his fair share of video games with dreams of making a career as a streamer. He loved Christmas, giving thoughtful gifts to make people smile and well-planned gag gifts to make them laugh. He marched to the beat of his own drum and his rhythm will be sorely missed by so many.

A celebration of life will be held on August 30th, 2025, at the Town of Wausau Town Hall from 11AM to 3PM - 161484 Co Rd Z, Wausau, WI 54403.
