Patricia Carole Denk

Patricia Carole Denk, age 77, Marshfield, passed away October 27, 2021 at Wells Nature View in Marshfield. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday November 1st, 2021 at Center City Church at 2209 W Spencer St in Marshfield. Visitation will be held at the Church one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Town of Day cemetery in Rozellville, WI.

Pat was born November 27th, 1943, daughter of Mary (Scherer) Denk and Leonard Denk. She graduated from Loyal High School in Loyal WI in 1961.

Pat started her career at Citizens National Bank in Marshfield in 1962 and in 1965 she moved to Washington DC to work for the Office of Economic Opportunity Job Corps and the Federal Power Commission. She briefly moved back to Madison WI and worked for the Veterans Administration but moved back to Washington DC the following year to work for the Department of the NAVY at the Pentagon until she retired in 1997.

Pat loved working for the military. She felt needed, important and patriotic. She was proud to be a civil servant, working for the government of the United States of America.

Pat moved back and lived in Marshfield WI in 2003 until the time of her death having spent many days and her love of music with parents and family.

Pat is lovingly survived by her siblings: Sharon Schoonover, Diane and Jerry Anderegg, LaVonne and Charles Dragon, Kathleen and Lawrence Hutchinson, Linda and Robert Newcomer, Jeffrey and Kate Denk, Gordon Denk along with many nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents: Mary (Scherer) Denk and Leonard Denk; as well as her siblings: Kristin, Kenneth and Terrence.
