Paul Thom

Paul Myron Thom, 71, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center following a heart attack.

Paul was born on May 2, 1954, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Myron L. Thom and Virginia “June” Thom (Folson).

Paul spent many years working at the former Marshfield Doors Plant, where he was known as a hardworking and dependable employee. He retired in 2020.

Outside of work, Paul enjoyed many hobbies and simple pleasures. He was known for his sharp pool skills and loved spending time fishing, playing Texas Hold ’Em, and searching for treasures at garage sales and auctions. Paul also took great pride in tending to his garden and enjoyed feeding the wildlife and animals around his home, including squirrels, birds, cats, and deer. He was a very giving person who enjoyed life to the fullest and will be remembered for his colorful, generous spirit.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Polly Frazier (Michael); and his beloved grandson, Gavin of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his son, Jessie Thom (Michelle) of Erie, Pennsylvania.

He is also survived by his twin brothers, Wally (Kathy) Thom of Birchwood, Wisconsin; Wayne (Pauline) Thom of Marshfield, Wisconsin; his twin sister, Pauline Boushon (Dan) of Spencer, Wisconsin; and Tony (Mary) Thom of Denver, Colorado. Paul is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron L. Thom and Virginia (June) Thom; his brother, Charles Thom; his sister, Linda Longmore; and his niece, Heather Thom.

Paul will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Pkwy.). Family and friends are invited to attend at 10:00 a.m. and share memories as they honor and celebrate Paul’s life.
