Richard Allen “Dick” Hahn, 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 21, 2022, at his home in Marshfield.
He was born on Aug. 31, 1946, to the late Luzern “Jack” and Verna Hahn, and grew up on the family farm in the township of McMillan. He was a graduate of Marshfield High School, and enlisted in the U.S. Army soon after.
Upon his return, he married the love of his life, Mary Ann Duerr, and had been married for 52 years before her passing in 2020.
Dick spent most of his working life employed at Marshfield Homes before its closing. He enjoyed many years of adventure, hunting, fishing and camping. He loved hanging with his family and friends, and was always up for a good card game.
He is survived by his two sons, Mike (Rhonda Debroux) Hahn of Wausau, and Mark (Sara Gadke) Hahn of Marshfield; one sister, Diane (Tom) Tobin; five grandchildren, Abby (Justin) Selep, Emma Hahn, Tanner (Jessica) Hahn, Gunner and Hunter Hahn; and one great-grandchild, Payton Hahn.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E. Veterans Pkwy. in Marshfield). The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
