Richard was a dedicated civil engineer for the city of Marshfield, spending thirty-two years surveying and designing all sorts of projects from roadways to water retention ponds. In his spare time, he enjoyed an active lifestyle, participating in softball leagues, golfing, traveling, keeping up with local sports, and pursuing a passion for sports cars. Most of all, he enjoyed bicycling. His beliefs went hand in hand with his volunteerism with Meals on Wheels and St. Vincent de Paul-Marshfield. Those that knew Richard best will miss his keen knack for movies and sports trivia, his drive to stay connected with the community, and his love for family.
