Roberta Johnson

Roberta Johnson, age 87, of Marshfield went into the arms of the Lord on April 26th at A Touch Of Home in Marshfield. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 1, 2023 at Faith Journey Church in Spencer. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Monday at the Church. Private Burial will take place at a later date.

Roberta was born the daughter of Jack and Katherine Krisman on March 7, 1936. Roberta was united in marriage to the love of her life, Jerome Johnson in Chicago, IL.

She was a long-time member of the Spencer United Methodist Church. She worked at National Tea Company in Chicago where she met Jerome and later moved to WI. She had various other jobs in the area. Roberta resided at A Touch of Home for the past three years and built strong friendships with staff and other residents. The family is truly grateful to them for enriching her life.

 In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, playing bingo and being involved in Women’s Club and United Methodist Women. She especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Those who knew Roberta best will miss her kind and caring personality and her gift of gab.

Roberta is lovingly survived by her children: Jeff (Char) Johnson of Colfax, Katherine Wawrzynowicz of Marshfield, Jackie (Steve) Greene of Menomonie, and Chris (Becky) Johnson of Marshfield. She is further survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Roberta is preceded in death by her husband: Jerome Johnson; parents: Jack and Katherine Krisman; her son: Nils Johnson and Son-in-Law: Henry Wawrzynowicz; as well as three siblings.

She will be truly missed but has blessed her family and friends with many happy memories and is now in the arms of the Lord.
