Ronald E. Regele

Ronald Regele, age 92, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Stoney River in Marshfield. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield. Pastor Chris Schwanz will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Ronald was born on January 6, 1932, in Marshfield to Emery and Francis (Bisser) Regele. On June 5, 1954, Ronald was united in marriage to the love of his life, Elvera Schwantes. (Spencer). He worked most of his years at St. Joseph’s Hospital in maintenance. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, selling Christmas trees, and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed deer hunting season.

Ronald is lovingly survived by his wife Elvera Regele; children: Beverly Aschenbrenner of Marshfield, siblings: Charles Regele, John Regele, and Shirley Bohne; grandchildren: Jennifer Zirbel, Shannon Erickson, McKenzie Durbin, and seven great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by son, Brian Regele, and sisters, Joan Anderson and Janice Hill.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marshfield Children's Hospital Pediatrics.
