Ruth was born on September 7th, 1934, in Marshfield, WI, to Emil and Erna Beyer. She was united in marriage to Wayne Korth in 1953 and was a long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield. She participated in the church choir, group bible studies, and the Ladies Guild. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and most especially her twin sister Mary. She enjoyed celebrating the holidays, especially the Christmas season. Ruth would keep her Christmas ornaments, especially manger scenes, on display year-round in her residence. Those who know Ruth will miss her smile, laughter, and love of life. Most importantly, Ruth also had a personal relationship with her Lord Savior Jesus Christ and would periodically let others know that.
Ruth is survived by four sons: Keith of Marshfield, Kevin (Kelly) of Wausau, Kyle of Rozellville, and Kent (Girlie) of Bristol, WI. 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, her sister Betty Jensen, and her brother Karl (Karen) Beyer. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne, her infant daughter Kelly, her sister, Elly, brothers, Alfred and Heinz.
The family would like to thank the staff at Wells Nature Assisted Living Facility and Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care Ruth received.
