Sally Jean (Braem) Saindon

Sally J. Saindon, age 89, of Marshfield, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, with loving family members by her side. 

A visitation for Sally will be held at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 East Veterans Parkway, Marshfield, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Private burial services will take place in Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.

Sally was born on August 29, 1932, the daughter of Charles L. and Helen (Rienow) Braem, at home in Marshfield. 

Sally graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in 1950 and on May 30, 1953, married the love of her life, Jerry Saindon, at Trinity English Lutheran Church in Marshfield.

Sally was a dedicated wife and mother.  Tending to their six children and a number of their Dobermans throughout the years was a full-time job for Sally which she loved.  She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed a full home for the holidays.  She enjoyed gardening and watching the Badgers, Packers and Chicago Cubs games with her husband Jerry.  She and Jerry also enjoyed garage sales and especially the A-Z Estate Sales in their retirement years.  She was an incredibly kind and gracious woman.

Survived by her children, Diane Saindon (friend – Tom Huetter), Charles Saindon, Jon (Sue) Saindon, Sara Rogers (Glenn Peterson), Paul (Jim Jinsky) Saindon and Mark (Krisann) Saindon.  Grandchildren, Danielle Saindon (friend – Jeff Severt), Derek (Ashley) Saindon, David Saindon, Alyssa Rogers, Chelsea Rogers and four great-grandchildren Malaya, Trey, Graham and Jetta.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Braem, her loving husband Jerry Saindon, two brothers, Don Braem and Allen Braem, son-in-law, Larry Rogers and grandson, Joshua Saindon.
