Samuel Frodl, age 27, of Milladore, WI went to be with the Lord on June 19th, 2024 in Junction City, WI. A Memorial Service will be held on July 12th, 2024 at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield, WI. Visitation with family will be held from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, with a service at 12:00pm that will include military honors. He will be laid to rest in Rockford, IL at a later date.
Sam was born on August 14th, 1996 to Dennis Frodl and Dee Curtin in Marshfield, WI. Growing up, he was a member of 4-H for over 8 years and enjoyed showing dogs with the Wood County 4-H Dog Project. Sam was in many sports in high school, including wrestling, baseball, and football. He graduated from Auburndale High School in 2014. After high school, he served in the Army for almost 4 years and toured in Korea. He remained on inactive reserve until his passing. He went on to receive an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and then decided to change careers and proudly work for UPS. He worked for UPS for over 7 years, with 5 years of being a driver.
He was an avid hunter/outdoorsman and loved spending time with his friends and family. In his spare time, he enjoyed lifting weights and staying in shape. He especially enjoyed watching baseball and following the Milwaukee Brewers. Those that knew Sam best will miss his carefree/joking attitude, genuine kindheartedness, and his love for his family and friends.
Sam is lovingly survived by his mother Dee (RJ) Curtin, brother Garrett (Sandra Pumper) Frodl, father Dennis Frodl, and grandma Lorraine Haasl. He is further survived by his second family Bob and Paula Fueher, best friend Brandon (Kaytie) Beggs, and numerous other family and friends. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him.
Sam is preceded in death by his grandparents Delores and Matthias Hoffman, Marvin Frodl, step-grandparents Dave Gordan and Phil Haasl, special aunt and uncle Margie and Dan Moe, and uncle Thomas Hoffman. He is also preceded in death by several cousins, other relatives, and many beloved pets.
