Scott Robert Schreiner

Scott Robert Schreiner, age 47, of Richfield, WI, passed away unexpectedly while working at CFR in Marshfield, January 29, 2021.  A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on, February 4, 2021 at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to service.  The family will hold a private memorial to be set at a later date.

Scott was born November 7, 1973, the son of Robert "Bob" and Sharon (Strupp) Schreiner in Marshfield. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 1994. On June  14, 2014 Scott was united in marriage to Marie Schultz in Colby. To this union, they were blessed with 2 children; Danica Sharon Kay, 9, and Darren Scott, 8.  They divorced in June 2019.

Scott is lovingly survived by his 2 children: Danica and Darren of Spencer; his parents Robert “Bob” and Sharon Schreiner; 2 siblings: Kory (Lisa) Schreiner of Sherry with children Austin, Collin, Kaelyn, Hannah, Olivia, Mike (Nicole) Schreiner of Stratford with children Makenzie, Payton, Jason, and Ross.  He is further survived by Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents: Charles “Chuck” and Jeanette “Janet” (Bell) Schreiner, Lawrence and Helen (Kohlbeck) Strupp; as well as Aunt Delores (Strupp) Wisneski, Uncles Charles “Butch” Schreiner and Gary Schreiner; and cousin Jason Strupp.

In his spare time Scott enjoyed hunting, four wheeling, late model racing, and riding his snowmobile. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys football team and going to the races whenever he could. He was also a member of the Fox Trackers Club.

Scott enjoyed camping with his two children and family. The thing he cherished most was time spent with his children and family. Those that knew Scott "Scotty" "Sparky" “Scooter” who had so many nicknames from many people that loved him, will miss his smile, spirit, and his love of family.

Professionally, Scott worked at Custom Fabricating & Repair as a custodian. 

Those wishing to express their sympathies are encouraged to do so. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting monetary donations to be allocated towards funeral expenses.
