Stephen Robert Dawson

Stephen R. Dawson, 51, of Marshfield, WI, passed away in his loving wife's arms on Sunday, January 17th, 2021 at home from cancer.

Stephen was born September 15th, 1969 to Joelfred Dawson and Rosemarie Ackman in Metropolis, IL. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He worked for many years at Woods Equipment, and before that he worked in construction for most of his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Tracy; 2 sons, Justin Dawson and Storm Dawson; 2 daughters, Misty Dawson and Amanda (Bobby Harrell) Dawson; 3 granddaughters, Holly, Lakota, and Alhanna; his mother, Rosemarie Ackman; his sister, September (John) Kozicki; his brother, Shawn (Lynda) Dawson; his step-brothers, Doug (Tracey) Ackman and Mike (Kristy) Ackman; and his step-sisters, Debbie Vanderwyst, Mary (Bob) Zygowicki, and Dawn Ackman. Stephen is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad Herman Ackman; his father, Joelfred Dawson; and his brother-in-law, Donnie Vanderwyst.

A celebration of life will be held on July 4, 2021, at Romano's in Nekoosa, which is located at 108 County Road Z.
