Teresa M. Lanning

Teresa M. Lanning, age 60, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024, at the Marshfield Medical Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Marshfield. The Rev. Dan Thelen will officiate. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Music will be provided by organist Cindy Penker and the St. John the Baptist Choir. Burial will be at a later date at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Auburndale. The Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Teresa was born on Aug. 28, 1963, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to Donald and Mary (Seubert) Lanning. She graduated from Kalamazoo, Michigan, public school system.

She enjoyed many TV programs and also loved reading her books of history, movie entertainment, Norman Rockwell calendars and collectables – and also her cat, Jessie.

Teresa is survived by her mom of Marshfield; and sister, Laurie of Tennesse; two half-sisters, Marie and Donna of California. She was predeceased by her father, Donald; and grandparents.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Family Health Services and Marshfield Medical Center for all their special care.
