Theodore “Ted” William Mueller passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at his home in Spencer, WI.
Ted was born on April 7, 1943, in Spencer, WI, to Ray and Luella (Schofield) Mueller. He attended Veefkind and Spencer Schools before working alongside his father, digging graves and moving buildings, which contributed to his strong work ethic. Over the years, Ted worked at Land O’Lakes, Stickert Roofing, and in logging before starting his own roofing company and managing his farm.
On February 27, 1961, Ted married his sweetheart, Lorna Jane (Redig) Mueller. Together, they shared over 63 years of love and cherished memories. A man of deep faith, Ted loved Jesus Christ and took pride in his family and farm. He enjoyed playing the guitar, computer games with his wife, sharing jokes (often laughing too hard to finish them), caring for his cows, and working on his land.
This scripture reflects the joy Ted found in his family:
"Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them." -Psalm 127:3-5
Ted is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Luella; brothers, Albert, Dan, Leroy and James; sister, Irene McBride; daughter, Patty; granddaughter, Kathryn (Katy) Alleshaski; and son-in-law, Alvin Alleshaski.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lorna; sister, Ruth Grey; and children: Cindy (Alvin†) Alleshaski, Lloyd (Tammy) Mueller, Larry Mueller, Robert Mueller, Ronald (Terry) Mueller, David Mueller, Tom (Pam) Mueller, Perry (Kelly) Mueller, and Jerry (Jill) Mueller.
Ted was a proud grandfather of many, many, many grandkids and great-grandkids!
Ted’s family, faith, and humor will remain his enduring legacy.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, located at 1010 East Veterans Parkway, Marshfield, WI 54449.

“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” -Isaiah 1:18 (NIV)
"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand." -John 10:28-29 (NIV)
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." -Romans 3: 23-24 (NIV)
