Timothy R. Vehrs, "Mara Rose Lorn" age 28, of Stevens Point, WI passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
Memorial services will be held at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 East Veterans Parkway, Marshfield, on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home and also one hour before the time of service on Monday. Burial will take place at a later date.
Timothy was born on January 10, 1995 in the middle of a snow storm in Woodstock IL. He is the son of Timothy C. and Julia (Traxler) Vehrs. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 2013 and then graduated from Mid State Technical College in 2015 with a computer networking degree. On August 19, 2017, Tim was united in marriage to Chelsea Kern. They later divorced in April, 2023.
Tim had a wonderful laugh, and a quirky and fun personality. He loved reading and had a passion for writing from an early age. Often, his teachers would find him reading books in class (hidden by a text book)! His writing was inspired, and his English teachers loved reading his poetry, and stories. He spent many a November participating in NanoWriMo writing stories and collaborating with his online friends. He enjoyed playing video games with his brothers Josh and Rian, his friend Ben Warren, along with many other friends from all over the world. In the younger years, Lightsaber wars were a given in the backyard which inspired his love of swords. He joined a local Fencing Club as a teen. He participated in Awana Clubs each year from Cubbie up to Journey and loved making his Grand Prix car with Dad and racing with his brothers. When he was 15, Tim and his Dad went to Honduras on a short-term medical mission trip with Calvary Bible Church. Later in life, Tim made the choice to be called Mara, and enjoyed many of the same things: gaming (hanging out on Discord with her brothers), reading, (especially the works of Brandon Sanderson), Anime, and spending time with Al (significant other.)
Timothy is lovingly survived by his parents, Tim and Julie, siblings, Joshua (Emily Barron) Vehrs, and Rian (Lili Sweet) Vehrs, and nephew Theodore Vehrs. He is further survived by his paternal grandparents, Bill (Elaine) Vehrs, maternal grandparents, David (Dorothy) Traxler, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be truly missed and cherished forever.
