Valeria "Val" Boushon

Valeria Ann Florence (Lohrman) Boushon, 87 of Chili WI. passed away on Aug. 31, 2024, at Vita Care Assistant Living in Stratford WI., surrounded by Family.

A memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Christ Lutheran Church in Chili. Pastor Dan Schoessow will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Yolo Cemetery in Chili.

Val was born to Max and Anna Lohrman on Sep. 8, 1936. Val was one of five children of Max and Anna.

She attended Auburndale high school until her family moved to the Marshfield area. Val then attended the Marshfield high school, where she met Laura (Boushon) Koffler. Laura then introduced Val to her brother Donald, who she later married.

Don and Val married on Nov. 9, 1954, at Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield WI. They were married for 66 wonderful years, until Don passed away on Dec. 10, 2020.

She is survived by her children Kris Boushon Stratford, Gary (Danielle) Boushon Granton, Lori (Garey) Plymesser Neillsville, and her 11 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents Max and Anna Lohrman, husband Donald Boushon, daughter Cheryl Boushon, son Mike Boushon and great grandson Alex Oliver.

Don and Val loved spending time together, they liked to take long drives down back roads looking for deer. Val had the biggest heart and always loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Near the end Val was short on words but big on love!

Val's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Vita Care for Val's care. And a very special thank you to the Moments hospice care givers who took such amazing care of her in her last moments.
