William Gustave Jacoby

William Gustave Jacoby, age 87, of Auburndale passed away unexpectedly at home Thursday, November 23, 2023. Private family services will be held at a later date.

William was born February 28, 1936 the son of Gustave and Viola (Stevenson) Jacoby. He was united in marriage to Judith A. Rader on July 15, 1961. Judith preceded him in death in 2019.  William worked as a truck driver and retired from the Wood County Highway Department.

He is survived by his children: Severn “Butch” (Bernette) Cyzan; Karen Jean (Eugene Sr.) Eckes, Sharon Ann Eckes, and Lisa Ann (Daniel) Breu; son-in-law: Kevin Eckes Sr.; grandchildren: Kevin Eckes Jr., Eugene Eckes Jr., William (Johanna) Breu, Jacob Breu, Patrick Breu, Adam Eckes, Justin (Ria) Cyzan, Devin (April) Cyzan; as well as 14 great grandchildren: Jackson, Khloe, Liam, Shelby, Bentley, Evangline, Haylee, Ryker, Finley, Karter, Kaisley, Maverick, Deklan, Shadow. William is further survived by sisters: Janice Carpenter and Lois Riehle, as well as a brother: Russ Jacoby.
